So I rank third in Google as far as the 2018 PBA Draft is concerned…
And I think it just means I’m either too early or people just don’t give a damn on the rookies.
Troy Rike is playing for the NU Bulldogs while Kobe Paras is with the UP Fighting Maroons. The last time I saw Jason Brickman play was during the 2017-18 ABL season and I still don’t know how the likes of Joshua Munzon, Taylor Statham, Avery Scharer, and Caelan Tiongson could apply for the draft.
Will the PBA enforce the two-confy Fil-Am rule given the state of the PBA D-League? For their sake, I want the D-League to join forces with Maharlika Basketball. It failed as a developmental league for seldom-used players and I guess the same can be said with how the local stalwarts are doubling down on their exposure to the point of choosing the MPBL over their D-League teams.
Even at 27 years old, he should still pursue a NBA career.
Anyway, here’s another “too early” 2018 PBA Mock Draft. Combining the win-loss records of the Philippine and Commissioner’s Cup, here are the 12 rookies that could see action next season… and I guess in the first round? Of course Bobby Ray Parks is on top of the list but there are a lot of players that went up from the last time I made a PBA Draft blog.
Game starts now.
