If Santa is real, all I want for Christmas is a powerful laptop to fit my vlogging needs.

Because darn it… I could use one.

I was going to do a vlog about the 2018 PBA Draft but yeah… I am technologically incapable. I downloaded a lot of Korean variety shows and I have yet to buy an external hard drive… so my laptop is ultra slow.

With that said, the recent events have forced me to re-structure my mock draft.

Game starts now.

So I don’t know what is it about Bonifacio Day but for some reason…

I did a vlog.

And yeah, I wrote something about PBA Second Round picks but for some reason, it’s easier to flash stats and look for video effects and transitions!

So while yeah, I am still going to finish the article…

… please enjoy its shitty Youtube version.

Get Sydrified.

November 28, 2018

I remember hearing something about second round picks.

Like… it’s better to get early second rounders than late first rounders.

Most late first rounders turned into benchwarmers for championship squads.

Plus, how can you call the careers of guys like Marc Gasol, Rashard Lewis, DeAndre Jordan, Dennis Rodman, Mark Price, Gilbert Arenas, Paul Millsap, Isaiah Thomas, Draymond Green, and Manu Ginobili disappointing when their level of...

November 9, 2018

I bet no one would argue that Terrence Romeo is an elite PBA talent.

And I guess I can understand why his non-inclusion ruffled a lot of people’s feathers.

Wait.

Can I say feathers?

Humans do not have feathers!

Fur?

Anywho, allow me to defend Yeng Guiao… as if he needs defending.

I can understand why they need to do away with Romeo. I know he’s 26 years old and his age along with his experience are assets but right now, is he in the...

I like Ronald Tubid.

I think he should be in Maharlika... because most of his contemporaries are there. But for some reason… mainly due to his awesomeness… the former second round pick of the 2003 PBA Draft is still in the league - putting up respectable numbers.

If you like what The Fearless did when he was still playing for Ginebra or San Miguel… then you’re cringing at his current situation. Tubid is currently playing fo...

After eight seasons, the ASEAN Basketball League has decided to do away with the Asian heritage imports.

Good call.

Look, I know I could get beef with this statement… but before you get to say “nice” things to me, let me voice out my sentiment.

Let’s recount the rationale behind the Asian heritage imports.

Back then, basketball is not that big in the region. We rarely lost in the SEA Games and if we do, it’s either because of the...

September 27, 2018

For the second time in his career, Arizona Reid is going to leave the PBA Governors’ Cup in the middle of the tourney.

The former Rain or Shine import has ceded his spot to Kevin Murphy and in some ways… I dread this development.

Sure, the San Miguel was able to claim Charles Rhodes en route to a Commissioner’s Cup victory in 2017.

But…

2017 PBA GOVERNORS’ CUP

San Miguel replaced Wendell McKines after leading the Beermen with a 3-2...

September 10, 2018

So I rank third in Google as far as the 2018 PBA Draft is concerned…

And I think it just means I’m either too early or people just don’t give a damn on the rookies.

Ugh.

Troy Rike is playing for the NU Bulldogs while Kobe Paras is with the UP Fighting Maroons. The last time I saw Jason Brickman play was during the 2017-18 ABL season and I still don’t know how the likes of Joshua Munzon, Taylor Statham, Avery Scharer, and Caelan T...

August 15, 2018

I spent most of August 15 celebrating my wife’s birthday that I didn’t notice this article.

Jammermania is now part of the Meralco Bolts.

Getting scooped up by the MVP team after spending time on unrestricted free agency, The Master of the Eurostep Dunk could be the missing piece to the Bolts’ championship drive.

I know… this is a farfetched thought. It’s even idiotic from a reader’s perspective. How can a benchwarmer troll his f...

August 9, 2018

I was drunk yesterday.

And then… procrastination!

So yeah, I am doing a late post.

So Ginebra won the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup and boy did Justin Brownlee powered the Kings. Ever since the former St. John’s University Red Storm player replaced… wait I am going to the PBA website to remember… Charles Garcia, Ginebra went on a tear.

And here’s the thing – the 30-year-old one-time Best Import is expected to administer pain on his...
